MANUAL TONGS

The BVM Type "C" Tong covers drill pipe or casing sizes from 2 3/8" through 10 3/4" OD and is mostly used on smaller rigs. The new rugged latch design makes the "C" Tong stronger than other models and also can be ordered with an optional 30 7/8" lever, where space is a problem. The tong is made from alloy steel, heat treated, load tested, and magnetic particle inspected. All specifications are certified.

The BVM Type "B" Tong has established itself to be one of the best for toughness and durability and it is the most popular tong on the market and can be ordered with a 36" or 48" lever. The tong is made from alloy steel, heat treated and magnetic particle inspected. Sizes range from 3 1/2" through 13 3/8" OD All steel specifications are certified.

The BVM Type "B" Casing Tong Head is designed to handle casing sizes from 13 3/8" through 30". The Tong Head is made from alloy steel, heat treated and magnetic particle inspected, torque rating is 25,000 FT/LBS. All steel specifications are certified.

The BVM Type "DB" Tong covers drill pipe or casing sizes from 3 1/2" through 17" OD and has excellent durability. The tong is made from alloy steel, heat treated and magnetic particle inspected. All steel specifications are certified.

Type AAX Manual Tong (Web wilson type) is an essential tool in oil drilling operation to fasten or remove the screws of drill pipe and casing joint or coupling, It can be adjusted by changing latch lug jaws.

The Type “H” Manual Tong (Web Wilson type) is ideal for light drilling and tubing work. Like all other BVM Tongs a 3 Jaw design permits the jaws a uniform contact around the pipe. The tong is made from alloy steel, heat treated, and magnetic particle inspected. Jaw sizes range from 3-1/2” through 13-3/8” OD. All Steel specifications are certified.

The BVM Type "SDD" Tong covers drill pipe or casing sizes from 4" through 17" OD and is rugged in design and allows the operator greater torque when needed. The tong is made from alloy steel, heat treated and magnetic particle inspected, and complies to API 7K.
